ErgoTech replaces labor-intensive manual ergonomic observation protocols with a streamlined digital workflow accessible to any SESI field evaluator equipped with a smartphone.
Data Registration: The evaluator registers the company, establishment, and demand being assessed through the web portal. A unique assessment code is generated and transferred to the mobile app.
Image Acquisition: The field evaluator records video of the worker performing the target task using the ErgoTech mobile app. The system confirms capture quality and uploads the footage.
Activity Division: A web-based annotation tool allows the evaluator to segment the captured video into discrete activity phases (e.g., lifting, carrying, static hold) and define task boundaries for analysis.
Ergonomic Evaluation: Posture classification algorithms analyze each activity segment, producing per-phase risk ratings for displacement, load, arms, back, and legs on a four-tier scale: no corrective measures needed (green), future correction needed (yellow), correction needed as soon as possible (orange), immediate correction required (red / black for posture).
Reports are generated automatically and include bar charts of posture distribution per body segment, enabling ergonomists to communicate risk clearly to management and prioritize workplace redesign interventions.
